(More customer reviews)I've used many A2DP devices before, anything from headphones to speakers to audio gateways. But this is the best I've used yet. It remembers multiple paired devices and always reliably connects to the last device connected. The range is fantastic, my phone (HTC Touch Diamond) has a VERY weak bluetooth signal so most A2DP devices either won't connect or stutters badly. With the BB Stereo Gateway, I can walk all around my house without losing connection, it's pretty amazing actually. Some people have complained about not having a built-in battery but to me that makes this device a perfect bluetooth receiver for my car. Once it was turned on and paired the first time, it will turn on and off with the car subsequently. You don't have to do anything else to connect it to your phone/mp3 player. Just turn on the car and a couple seconds later, you're connected. Simple.
The audio quality is decent, it's not better or worse than any other A2DP devices I've used. The package I got didn't come with a power adapter so you'll have to supply your own. Any mini-usb power source should work. This was a great find and I'm now waiting for it to go on sale again so I can grab a couple more for my home.
