Microsoft Wireless Keyboard 6000 (Black) Review

Microsoft Wireless Keyboard 6000 (Black)
Average Reviews:

There are 2 big draws to this product:
Firstly, Microsoft's name. They make great keyboards, and have for many years. Unfortunately, their products tend to be a bit more expensive than other brands, but I think the quality makes up the difference.
Secondly, the styling. This keyboard has a really classy style and contour. It reminds me of older ergonomic keyboard designs because of the curved layout, but it isn't trying to dramatically change the traditional layout. The translucent border around the keyboard's body is a very nice touch. It reminds me of the glass effect in Aero.
Facts about usage:
The keys have very quiet operation, and very short travel. They feel like a hybrid of traditional desktop and laptop designs. The added media keys around the border are very useful too.
My only gripe about the keyboard is that the F-key layout isn't traditional which makes me second-guess my finger placement when I want to press and F-key. I end up looking down. That's bad form. They layout they picked is more visually appealing and most users don't use the F-keys that much, but I do because I am an enthusiast.
9.5 / 10 Do not hesitate to buy this product.

Magellan RoadMate 1470 4.7-Inch Widescreen Portable GPS Navigator Review

Magellan RoadMate 1470 4.7-Inch Widescreen Portable GPS Navigator
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I've been a Magellan user for several years - have owned four of their GPS systems, and always appreciate how they have improved their products. This unit is my 5th, and replaces a Magellan 4040. After using it for a while I've confident in saying this is the best one yet!
The most visible change is the actual size of the unit. The screen size has been increased, but the unit is thinner and lighter. Very sleek appearance, and the screen is a real joy -- sharp, clear graphics even in the sun, and bigger on-screen buttons for easy use. The mounting system has also been streamlined, and looks and works well. It mounts very easily on a NavMat holder (basically a bean-bag system that I got on Amazon. I'm a huge Navmat fan - makes it a snap to hide the GPS with narry a trace. Best accessory by far for any GPS).
The power connector was not well thought out, however. You have to connect it to the GPS unit AFTER you mount it in the holder. They should have moved the connector it a wee bit to the side to avoid that.
The only button is a slide-type power button on the top. Boot-up time is OK -- not speedy, but not a huge delay either. It does not have a "sleep" mode, so you have to do a cold boot every time. Not a problem in real world use - by the time you get situated in your car, the unit is ready to go.
Voice is clear and easy to understand. Not as natural sounding as a TomTom, but understandable.
Pretty much any recent GPS unit will get you where you want to go. I've found the routing on the Magellans to be very similar to Garmins - could be because they both use the same mapping set (Navteq). The Magellan shines, however, in features that I find helpful. The direction of the next turn is always visible regardless of how far away the next turn will be. Up until recently, Garmin did not offer this (they do now on some of their units). Sounds like a small issue, but I find it very helpful. The Magellan also allows you to very easily exclude a route (or portion). That's a fairly standard feature nowadays, but Magellan allows you to do it in a snap.
In terms of routing, Magellan offers four options (fastest, shortest, most use of freeways and least use). You can see all four options on the map (as a summary) at the same time so you can pick the best one for your needs. Perfect!!
Love the AAA Guidebook, which is a unique Magellan feature. Lets you get details about restaurants and other points of interest just like the paper version from AAA. I used it a lot in my 4040, especially when traveling out of town.
Other unique Magellan features I appreciate is the "ding dong" sound right before a turn (incredibly accurate!) and the fact that the software reminds you to "stay on the current road" when you encounter major exits. Some find that to be nagging, but it has saved me from inadvertently exiting on more than one occasion.
A new feature for Magellan is the lane guidance. Very nicely done. I've used this feature on Navigon units, and found it rather unhelpful. Magellan's implementation is far more useful, with better, clearer graphics. However, lane guidance is not available for every road.
The software is also nicely done - very logical to use. If you're a past Magellan user you can pick this up and use it in a second. If not, there's a short printed user's guide in the box (plus a CD-ROM with more in-depth info) that gets you up to speed quickly. The box also includes the mount, power connector for the car, and a USB cable. It does not include an AC adapter.
OK, now for the bad news. When it comes to customer service, Magellan has been horrid. We're talking so bad it's almost funny. I'm hoping this situation will change - the company was bought by Mitac late last year, and perhaps this will signal a change for the better in terms of customer support. Lord knows, they couldn't get any worse.
The leader, in my opinion, for customer support is Garmin. They are nice to deal with on the phone, answer emails promptly, and offer regular firmware updates. Whenever I buy a GPS as a gift I always buy Garmin since I don't want to saddle the recipient with the miserable service that Magellan offers. It's a shame, since Magellan offers some real benefits over Garmin, and more value for the money. Tom Tom is also decent when it comes to support, but they use TeleAtlas maps which are less complete than NavTeq (sp?).
Bottom line -- if you're looking for a straightforward GPS at a good price, this should be on your short list. It lacks features such as Bluetooth and an MP3 player, but for me, I want a GPS to offer guidance and not entertainment. This has a very robust feature set, great screen, and well-designed software. It also has traffic capabilities -- did not test that feature out, so I can't comment on it.
The "safe" bet continues to be Garmin. You'll pay a bit more, and get less features, but you can be assured of solid support. Whether Magellan's new owners will put them back on the right track (if you'll excuse the horrid, but unavoidable pun) in terms of customer service is not yet clear. I hope so -- they make a great product!
UPDATE: 5/21/09 There's a firmware update on the Magellan site. No new functionality (in terms of new features) but, according to the release notes it improves overall performance. Easy to install - just follow the included step-by-step instructions. It seems like it makes the unit a bit faster, but that could just be my imagination.

This unit does work with blackberrys (I have been using it for calls all week with great results). I was worried about the unit because of other reviews, however I decided to bite the bullet and try it. I am glad I did, it works like a champ! When using a Blackberry, it will not store your phone book, or allow voice dialing, or transfer music, etc, however I knew that going in. I just needed a unit to allow high quality hands free operation and be xm ready. I have been very happy with it.
It took me about 2 hours to install it with xm radio adapter. I have a 2008 equinox and bought the harness and kit through Crutchfield.
So if you have a blackberry, don't get scared off of this one.

Yamaha HTR-6250BL 630 Watt 7-Channel Home Theater Receiver Review

Yamaha HTR-6250BL 630 Watt 7-Channel Home Theater Receiver
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
There are two model numbers for this AV Receiver as disclosed on CNET. One model number is the RX-V565BL, the other is the HTR-6250BL, which I purchased. At various times, the prices of the two vary on Amazon, so I just went with the cheaper one. I coupled the receiver with the Energy Take Classic 5.1 and was able to get two satellites on Ebay to complete a 7.1 speaker system. To round out the system I have the Mitsubishi DLP 73". I also have the PS3, xbox360 and Wii hooked up.
Unlike another reviewer who had a problem with his Tivo Series 3 with RX-V565 version of the receiver, I had no problem at all. Iif you have a problem with the HDMI, just use the Tivo component out and digital optical out direct into the Yamaha. It works perfectly.
The biggest problem I had in hook up was my inability to connect the Wii directly through the Yamaha. I use the component video cable for the Wii. This Wii cable has two rca connectors for audio.
There are two composite inputs on the Yamaha. One has a coaxial audio and the other has digital optical audio. There is no connection for composite video plus two rca female audio inputs. I ended up connecting the Wii output video straight to the tv, without the benefit of the 1080p upscaling of the Yamaha, and the audio only to the receiver. Because of this I can only give the receiver 4 stars.
The sound from the system is very clear. I am still playing with all of its sound options and will update the review after I have more experience with the sound options.
UPDATE I found this inexpensive work around for the Wii audio hookup on Amazon: RCA DT2AD 2-Way Signal Converter DT2AD. It allows conversion of the analog audio to digital audio.

Kenwood KVT-514 7-Inch Wide In-Dash Monitor with USB/iPod Direct Control/DVD Receiver Review

Kenwood KVT-514 7-Inch Wide In-Dash Monitor with USB/iPod Direct Control/DVD Receiver
Average Reviews:

The Kenwood KVT-514 is the new motorized DVD unit for 2009. This thing can do it all. It is the First of Kenwood's units that works with the iPhone, you will need the KCA-iP301V($25-$30)cable. I doin't have the Bluetooth adapter yet, so I can't vouch for that, But I do know that you can use the screen to dial your contacts, and then you nave the Navigation hooked up while are looking up a place of business(Restaurant) You can press on the phone number and it will dial the place. I have the iPhone & Kenwood KNA G510 - Navigation system bu Garmin. The Nav. is great!! Well it's a Garmin and they are the best in the Nav. business.
I was looking at the Kenwood Excelon DNX8120, It has everything...but..I wanted a good unit that didn't stand out in a parking lot, and a 7in screen in the dash just beggs to be stolen. The screen in the 514 has the new Z-Action(tm) mechanism gives you 12 different viewing angles for optimum visibility. Kenwood's flip out screen units have been very good and reliable. 1 word of CAUTION...KENWOOD ONLY HONORS THERE WARRANTY IF YOU BUY FROM THEIR AUTHORIZED DEALERS..(Crutchfield). This is a lot of money for a unit and adds up if you add all the stuff for it, so a warranty is always a good thing. This thing will do it all I am glad I chose this model. I do my homework and buy the best, You cant beat Kenwood and Garmin both have a very good track record...Enjoy..
Works with Kenwood iPod adapter, Bluetooth adapter, HD Radio tuner, satellite radio tuner, and navigation module.

Delphi MyFi XM2GO Portable XM Satellite Radio Receiver with Home / Car Kits Review

Delphi MyFi XM2GO Portable XM Satellite Radio Receiver with Home / Car Kits
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I've had my MyFi for a week now and I must say that it has exceeded my expectations. I do live in an urban area where reception is great (DC) but I find that I rarely use the live programming when on the run and just rely on my recorded content.
First what's great about the MyFi:
1) I'm new to satellite radio and was very impressed with the variety of music available. I've discovered lots of artists that while I had my Ipod I never knew existed. Add to that the great live events, talk radio, and other content.
2) XM2Go works flawlessly. But for the limitations (below) it works flawlessly. Pop your MyFi in the cradle at night and in the morning you have 5+ hours of content. Note, the box says 5 hours but in reality if you record any of the more compressed channels (talk etc.) you will end up being able to record more than 5 hours! I believe when I record music channels I actually get closer to 6 hours of recorded content. Once you have your content you can easily scroll from song to song. Skip the ones you don't like. Replay the ones you do.
3) It is truly portable. I go from pocket (headphones), to car (FM transmitter), to home cradle (line-in to the stereo) without ever interrupting listening.
4) It comes with everything you need, including a remote control so you can easily switch channels as your MyFi sits in its cradle across the room (you can't say that about the Ipod). Further, what it comes with is great quality. I love the swivel car cradle - not only do you not have to worry about plugging wires into the MyFi everytime you bring it into the car (they are plugged into the cradle), it makes reading the display a breeze for both the driver and the passenger (just swivel it between the two).
5) Replaceable battery. Unlike the Ipod the MyFi, like a cell phone, has a swappable battery. That means you can (eventually) either buy a replacement when the battery starts to lose strengh without conducting the surgery necessary on the Ipod (this is huge given the amount of use these devices get and the liklihood that batteries will only hold their full capacity charge for 6-12 months) or just have one handy to extend your listening time.
6) It's solid state. Unlike the Ipod you don't have to worry about a hard drive to go bad (like mine did in 8 months!)
7) Recording isn't limited to scheduled records. You can always nab a song here or there by just hitting the XM2Go button.
8) It feels solid in your hand. Yeah, it's bigger and heavier than an Ipod (think thick PDA, or perhaps the Dell MP3 player) but it's designed to fit in your hand well and works well for both left (me) and right handed people.
Now the things you should be aware of (though, knowing them I still would buy one):
1) Don't expect non-stop reception when you are roaming around. Even in metro areas you might drop a signal when you aren't using the home or car kits. I imagine it is difficult at best in non-urban areas to maintain a line of sight with the sats. Just expect that you will need to make use of the recorded content in those situations.
2) Don't expect the sound quality of a high-bitrate MP3 on the Ipod. I suspect that this has everything to do with the nature of Sat radio and nothing to do with the MyFi hardware, but, the quality is not the same. Although I would rate it great, you do notice that you are getting a compressed stream.
3) Don't expect to be able to control your content. Unless you save a recording session for days you won't likely get the same songs day to day (the playlists on XM are vast, rarely are there repeats) (notable exception is if you record the top 20 channel). That's a good thing if you like variety - that's a bad thing if you like the comfort of always having your favorite tunes handy.
4) The AV cable is a bit short (nothing an extension cord couldn't fix).
5) I would like to see a more sophisticated recording scheduler. Currently you can only schedule 2 record sessions and it limits you to recording within the next 24 hours (unless you schedule a daily recording session). With all of the great XM content it would have been nice to be able to set up a recording session several days into the future.
6) I would like to be able to lock or protect songs or even whole sessions from being recorded over by new recording sessions. Currently, the way it works is just a simple first in first out method. Fortunately, it is smart enough to merely delete a portion of an overwritten section as opposed to the whole section.
7) It doesn't buffer like a TiVo/ReplayTV. It would be nice to pause and/or rewind live content.
8) Fianlly, I would love a computer interface so that that XM can distribute updated software to fix some of the above issues.
This product is great.

So I returned it, and ordered another one, and it had the same thing. I was getting ready to go on a trip, so I just installed it, and left it cracked. It's not noticeable unless your looking for it. When I get the back up camera and have to open up the dash again, I will use some clear super glue and that should solve the problem.

Average Reviews:

I love the display on this unit it is really bright and fun. It sounds great too. But it is a seriously dangerous toy to have in your vehicle. Trying to adjust the volume or anything else on the unit while driving is near impossible. It is super touchy and you have to be very accurate where you touch the pad to change things. That means you have to take your attention off the road to work it. The remote works fine for volume and source but who wants to fumble with it all the time. Besides there are no audio controls on the remote. To change the sub or EQ settings you have to go through 3 layers of menus and about 10 key strokes. Who ever designed this disaster must not adjust the sub and EQ for different types of music like the rest of the world.
Bottom line is it looks very cool but it is very difficult to work. I used it for 2 weeks and replaced it with a boring Alpine 9886 that has a wonderful big volume knob and 1 touch access to the audio controls. It has a lousy display but much safer and more functional. So anyone want to buy a slightly used JVC?

Both innovative and stylish, exclusive El Kameleon technology provides the ultimate anti-theft security advantage. The KD-AVX40's faceplate converts to a stealthy black appearance when the power is turned off--appearing unnoticeable to potential car stereo thieves. Once powered on, the KD-AVX40 comes to life as a full function Multimedia player--complete with a unique electro-static touch panel operation interface and 3-D graphical menu system.
El Kameleon Control Panel This single-din receiver's 3.5-inch widescreen monitor is constructed with a high-resolution 211,200 pixel TFT panel capable of over thousands of display colors. This TFT panel displays a 16:9 aspect ratio for a widescreen viewing experience. The monitor can also display multimedia video and AV input content at the same time in split screen mode. The wide viewing angle virtually eliminates screen glares, making the monitor clearly visible from every viewing angle. Another new feature is full touch screen capability, which allows the entire TFT panel to dual-task as the receiver's control panel. This receiver also features a built-in electrostatic proximity sensor, which illuminates the screen when the user approaches it with their hand. Otherwise, it's pitch black--El Kameleon.
Built-in Bluetooth Wireless Technology The KD-AVX40 features built-in Bluetooth for hands-free calling while driving. Phone calls can be made easily and received directly through the receiver, while voice recognition technology enables immediate dialing from the driver's cell phone without the distraction of handling the phone while driving. Phonebook entries can be stored and accessed on the receiver and text message notification can also be displayed on-screen.
JVC also includes PBAP, or "Phonebook Access Profile" capability. This feature allows direct view and selection of phonebook entries without requiring any additional action or information transfer. PBAP also allows access to all phonebook entries, regardless of how many number entries are stored in the cell phone's memory.
Bluetooth connectivity also allows music enthusiasts to listen to their favorite songs and artists wirelessly from iPod/iPhone, cell phone, or other Bluetooth enabled devices through the receiver.
CD and DVD Playback Enjoy your favorite CDs or watch some video on DVD, DVD-R/RW, DVD+R/RW or VCDs. Use the gold-plated video output terminals to send video to a passenger screen.
AM/FM Radio The KD-AVX40 features an AM/FM radio with standards like automatic presetting. You can also add SAT or HD radio with additional accessories.
GIGA MP3 MULTI--Play MP3, WMA, and WAV Files Burned on DVD The KD-AVX40 features GIGA MP3 MULTI, which plays MP3, WMA, or WAV files burned on DVD. With MP3 and WMA files, the 4.7GB capacity of a DVD can store up to 2,500 songs on a single disc--equal to 250 pre-recorded CDs. If you want even more superior sound quality, WAV files can be burned onto a DVD. WAV is an uncompressed PC music file format that delivers CD-quality sound. A single DVD disc can store 100 WAV files--equal to 10 pre-recorded CDs. Now you can enjoy non-stop entertainment with CD-quality sound, without an additional CD changer.
USB Port Stream WAV/MP3/WMA files from USB thumb drives and other devices via the included USB port.
iPod Connectivity You can also operate your iPod via the USB port. Control your iPod/iPhone from either the player itself or from the receiver's controls, while allowing song and artist information display, play, pause, skip, or back commands from either device.
MPEG 1/MPEG 2 Playback Play MPEG 1 and MPEG 2 video files burned on DVD or CD, TV programs recorded from a PC, or personal footage from digital camcorders, without the hassles of authoring or decoding.
JPEG Pictures JPEG digital still photos can be displayed on their own or as slideshows.
Expandability With its 50W x 4 MOSFET amplifier, the KD-AVX11 packs a lot of punch. But if you need more, two sets of preamp outputs (front, rear, and sub) are included.

Just installed this unit and I am blown away with the quality and number of features! This unit is absolutely amazing. It has everything I wanted and more which includes:
--INSTALL: Took about 3 hours since I have never installed a head unit before and had to look at forums of how to take apart my dash. Even though it took long, it was relatively easy.
--BLUETOOTH STREAMING: High quality music streaming via Bluetooth from my Droid. I can also take control of my droid from the headunit. This is great since my phone is my primary music player. Pairs up as soon as I get in the vehicle and has very high fidelity. No unsightly aux wire needs to be run but can be if needed (Friend's phone/iPod).
--BLUETOOTH PHONE: Still tweeking it to sound just right, but overall impressed. Initially I was worried that it was not going to sound good at all when I first started testing it out. Call quality on my end (what I heard) sounded fantastic, but my voice sounded muffled to others. Turns out there is an on screen option to adjust the mic volume between 1-3. Its set on 3 but turn it all the way down and it makes it sound so much better. Have the mic mounted high on the A-Pillar currently.
--REAR USB: Works fantastic. Ran it into my glove box. Very fast to load, no lag. Brings in album art if you have it which looks fantastic on the high res screen.
--SOUND QUALITY: Awesome. Whether its bluetooth streaming, CDs, DVDs, or music on the USB stick, it sounds so much better than my stock stereo. EQ is great and very adjustable. I'm using the "Dynamic" setting and it sounds fantastic.
--DVD: Awesome screen quality, way better than the comparable Pioneer model. Very high resolution!
--MENUs: Intuitive and fast. No waiting time. Easy to get the hang of.
--EXPANDABILITY: Lots! Can add Sirius/XM, Back-up Cam, Sub woofer, Speaker Amp.
--CUSTOMIZABILITY: Can add your own backgrounds, change the illumination to match your existing dash lights.
--FIT AND FINISH: I really wanted a OEM look to my dash, not some flashly aftermarket unit. Fits great overall, still need to put in the dash kit and wire up the steering wheel controls but overall it looks fantastic. Makes my 4Runner look awesome inside.
--START UP AND LOAD TIME: Start up take 2-3 seconds max. Fast to connect to phone, fast to move from song to song on USB, CD or Streaming bluetooth.
COOL FEATURES: I have Navigation on my Droid through Google Maps so whats awesome is that the directions play through my speakers as part of the BT streaming. I literally can be listening to a song and bam, it pauses my music, gives me a clear voice direction where to go and then resumes my music.
DETACHABLE FACE PLATE: Great for anti-theft. Even comes with a nice case to protect your face plate while its off the unit.
OVERALL:
I simply love this unit. I can not recommend it enough. My friends and family are blown away at how nice it is. Seems to be of great quality and is feature loaded. Everything works so well! I demoed the Pioneer AVH 3300BT and Sony XAV 62BT. Both are ok but this unit, for me, blows them out of the water!

IOGear Bluetooth USB 2.1 Micro Adapter with Tri-language Package (Black) Review

IOGear Bluetooth USB 2.1 Micro Adapter with Tri-language Package (Black)
Average Reviews:

i have 3 of these devices and it took me a lot of experimenting to arrive at my conclusions.
1. works with Vista (drivers come with Vista Home Basic)
2. works with Ubuntu Linux (drivers come with Ubuntu)
3. works with Windows 7 Starter (must install drivers that come with device)
Microsoft leaves things out of Windows 7 Starter and they hope you will get frustrated and buy an upgrade to Home Premium.
I have one device on my Lenovo S10-3 Netbook and use a bluetooth mouse but it will disconnect on it's own when not used for more than 5 minutes. This could be mouse powering down to save power. i bought the mini bluetooth mouse on amazon too. it has a bluetooth logo on it and after much use i am very happy with it. The combo work well together and the dongle has low profile which lets me leave it in all the time and which lets the S10-3's power cable to rotate around it without hitting it.
One device on Vista Home basic desktop. If I play music or video on my netbook
and want to pipe the stereo sound through my desktop which has a sounds sytem attaced to it, it works for an hour or so, then just stops working and i have to reboot the Desktop to get it working again.
I can't get stereo music and mouse working on one device at the same time.
Something about a stack. Not sure if this is a memory stack in the device or
in the bluetooth driver.
overall it's an excellent way to upgrade a pc to bluetooth inexpensively.

I purchased this unit on Ebay, so my review is strictly on the stereo itself and not Amazon. It has options such as: ipod control, and bluetooth that most other stereos require expensive add-ons to do. This unit is exactly the same as the KD-AVX44. The only difference is one has blue backlighting and a two year warranty, the other has white backlighting and a one year warranty. This receiver would be five stars if the controls were a little more intuitive. You definitely need to read the manual, or you will get frustrated quickly.

I bought this about 3 years ago, and it's pretty good. It's been durable, and I use the iPod compatibility with no hitches. It doesn't have a great EQ system (only controls for bass and treble), but aside from that, it's been a pretty decent player.

The wife and I finally upgraded our AT&T cell phone service after six years and got two free Sony Ericsson W518a phones. We don't care too much about texting and web surfing on our phones but thought the MP3 player was a nice feature. Considering the phone package didn't come with the hands free head set we decided to order this adapter to use with the stereo head sets we have for our computers. This jack is NOT stereo. It is fully connected seated and only one side of the head set can be heard. To send it back would be more of a hassle and expense than this hunk of junk is worth! Don't waist your money. I'm also not very pleased with Sony Ericsson either, but that for a different review.

JVC KW-AVX840 7" Double-DIN Multimedia Receiver Review

JVC KW-AVX840 7 Double-DIN Multimedia Receiver
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
This is my e-mail to JVC after two weeks with this unit.
Dear JVC:
I want to report to you that all the debugging and testing that you did NOT do on the JVC KW-AVX840
Really irritated me and cost me a lot of personal time the past two weeks. You probably have a dozen or so e-mails from my iPhone, plus half a dozen phone calls trying to get a straight answer on how to use motionX with this receiver. The closest thing I got to an answer was oh gee "you plug it in and it works". Well I can safely tell you after many hours of e-mails to you, and MotionX. Phone calls to JVC, tearing my car apart for a week, and finally purchasing a new unit thinking mine was defective, that this does not work. Forgive me for expecting you to actually test the interface on all the products you are advertising. Especially the top end model from JVC. Honestly it would not bother me nearly as much if this was not the main feature I see advertised on web sites. Even the local store I bought my 2nd 840 at said he did not know how it worked, and of course there is no mention of this in the manual. No one at your customer service center knows how to work this unit. And the phone calls I have been promised from supervisors have not happened.
Here is another thing that Does Not Work. The Sub-woofer output. Does not put a signal out.
Nice haves would be.
Do something to show off the nice screen. Big beautiful screen why can't I watch the EQ bounce? It goes to sleep mode. Thats the big feature, all the information disappears after ten seconds. Hmm not sure I get that decision.
Why does it have a NAVI setting. You don't offer a navi add on. Is his where motion X is supposed to show up? It doesn't. It only shows up In AV and that is without sound.
I have heard that you cannot use USB in dual mode. This is not a feature I care about, ( no back seat) but in my long search for answers this seemed to be an issue for others.
The clock does not seem to auto set via radio with HD plugged in.
Now in the intetest of being fair, here are some things That work good.
Blue tooth integration. Wow awesome interface, including phone book. I wish it would show multiple numbers for people, or at least give multiple entries for them, but overall nice job.
Ipod integration is great! Works really good.
Touch screen is very nice and works well.
Radio tunes nicely. Good signal strength.
blutooth player works well with pandora. Although it does not pull in titles etc from my iphone.
The sound is Great! The Eq offers great adjustment features.
