I currently have it paired with an Energy 5 speaker system, and the wow the sound is crisp! I credit the booming bass and sharp treble mostly to this receiver though - it has plenty of power to do the job. Anyway, if you're like me and don't have a need for the full 7 speaker deal, I urge you to strongly consider the Yamaha RXV467BL for your receiving needs.
